Cesena IT Services

The IT technicians stationed at the office in Piazza Aldo Moro 90 are responsible for supporting the locations of the Department of Psychology UOS of Cesena and are part of the IT staff of the Cesena Campus.

Therefore, the locations of the UOS fully benefit from the IT services provided by the Cesena Campus.

• For the UOS of Cesena, the Campus IT sector handles network management, maintenance, installation, and support for devices and all IT resources.
• It determines the need for equipment and IT resources and arranges their renewal. The sector manages the Department's website in collaboration with the Web Editorial Team and all related sites and services.
• It offers IT assistance to students, technical staff (in collaboration with CESIA and through outsourced services), and faculty members. It supports the management of software for the educational needs of students and faculty, for service operations (accounting programs, assistance with student management applications, statistical programs, etc.).
• It manages the support for facilities, audio/video and IT equipment in traditional classrooms and Campus laboratories.
• It supports specialized laboratories in their research activities.
• It acts as an intermediary between user support requests and the University's IT services.
• It provides technical support for educational activities (lessons, study, exams, thesis, etc.) and collaborates with the Service for Students with Disabilities and SLD in identifying needs and related technological solutions.

The office in Piazza Aldo Moro is open to the public from 9 am to 1 pm, Monday to Friday; the sector staff is also available at the number 0547 3 38000.

Campus Computer Classrooms at the UOS Locations

The UOS of Cesena has access to computer classrooms managed by the Campus located at its various locations.

At the Piazza Aldo Moro site, two computer classrooms are available (computer classroom 1 with 40 workstations on the first floor and computer classroom 2 with 24 workstations on the second floor) managed by the Cesena Campus for use by faculty, students, and technical staff for lectures, exercises, and use of the resources within. However, UOS activities can take place in other Campus classrooms, just as other Campus activities can be held in the facility's classrooms.

The computer classrooms are equipped with PCs with the latest operating systems and application software capable of supporting free consultation activities, processing, and other software for experiments and educational and research activities.

The classrooms are also connected (in audio/video and PC) with a system that can provide "telelectures," effectively allowing for the use of a number of workstations equal to the sum of the workstations (65).

Access to the PCs is through DSA credentials.

Additionally, the provided audio/video equipment ensures optimal use of the educational activities taking place in the classrooms.
