Michelle Ryan is Professor of Social and Organisational Psychology and Director of the Global Institute for Women's Leadership at The Australian National University.

She will present research looking at four common missteps that are made when designing and implementing gender equality initiatives and suggest alternative ways of approaching gender equality programs.
